Website Development & Maintenance

OBJECTIVE

CFO Plus, LLC will design, develop, launch, and maintain a professional website for the client. In addition, CFO Plus, LLC will register and manage the business domain and assist with the setup and administration of business email accounts associated with the domain.

SERVICES PROVIDED

The following services will be performed by CFO Plus, LLC:

    1. Conduct requirements gathering and sitemap planning

    2. Create custom homepage and up to 10 internal pages

    3. Ensure mobile responsiveness and SEO optimization

    4. Install blog or news section (optional)

    5. Set up Google Analytics and contact forms

    6. Provide two rounds of revisions prior to launch

    7. Deploy website to live hosting environment

    1. Register one (1) business domain name

    2. Configure domain DNS settings and hosting

    3. Renew domain and hosting annually, billed at cost statements monthly.

    4. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    1. Set up business email accounts

    2. Configure email platform (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)

    3. Provide basic support for email routing, mobile/device setup, and troubleshooting

    4. Ongoing email hosting billed at cost

    1. Perform monthly content and design updates

    2. Conduct monthly WordPress, theme, and plugin updates

    3. Monitor uptime and perform weekly backups

    4. Provide email support within 24–48 hours for non-critical issues

    5. Respond to emergency outages promptly

DELIVERABLES

  1. Requirements & Planning Documentation: A sitemap and requirements specification outlining site structure, page hierarchy, and feature set.

  2. Website Design Files: Mockups or prototypes for the homepage and internal page templates.

  3. Fully Developed Website: A live, responsive website with SEO optimization and mobile compatibility.

  4. Content Management System Setup: CMS installation configured for easy content edits, blog or news section (if requested), and user‐friendly admin access.

  5. Contact Forms & Analytics: Integrated contact forms and Google Analytics (or equivalent) set up and connected to the live site.

  6. Domain Registration & DNS Configuration: Registered domain name (e.g., example.com), DNS settings configured, and documentation of domain credentials.

  7. Hosting Environment & Deployment: Hosting account configured, SSL certificate installed (if applicable), and website deployed to the live server.

  8. Business Email Accounts: Fully configured with user credentials and device‐setup instructions.

  9. Two Rounds of Pre‐Launch Revisions: Client feedback incorporated into two formal revision cycles before final sign‐off.

  10. Maintenance & Update Logs: Monthly logs detailing content changes, CMS/theme/plugin updates, and any design tweaks performed.

  11. Monitoring & Backup Documentation: Weekly uptime reports, backup schedules, and recovery procedures documented.

  12. Support & Handoff Package: Technical support details (email response timelines, emergency contact), administration guides, and all credential handover.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Project Oversight. Maintain clear communication with the client, manage timelines, and ensure the project progresses according to plan.

    2. Professional Guidance. Advise the client on best practices for web design, usability, SEO, and content strategy.

    3. Technical Execution. Handle all technical configurations related to the website, domain, email setup, and hosting environment.

    4. Quality Control. Ensure the website is functional, secure, and performs reliably across devices and browsers.

    5. Issue Resolution. Provide timely support for technical issues, outages, and routine updates as defined in the agreement..

    6. Asset Stewardship. Maintain and safeguard access credentials, ensuring smooth handoff upon request or at termination.

    1. Timely Participation. Respond promptly to communications and provide approvals or direction to avoid project delays.

    2. Content Ownership. Prepare and submit all branding materials, text, and media assets to be used on the website.

    3. Access Provisioning. Supply necessary logins or authorizations for any platforms or accounts needed for integration or configuration.

    4. Decision-Making. Make timely decisions regarding design choices, feature requests, and revision feedback.

    5. Operational Continuity. Monitor their email accounts and hosting services once operational, and notify CFO Plus of any needed support.

    6. Compliance with Agreement Terms. Adhere to payment schedules and other contractual obligations outlined in the service agreement.

SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT

  1. Support Response Times

    • Emergency Website Outage: Respond within 2 hours

    • Critical Issues (e.g., broken forms): Respond within 12 hours, resolve within 48 hours

    • Non-Urgent Requests (e.g., edits): Respond within 24–48 hours, resolve within 3 business days

  2. Monthly Maintenance

    • Up to 2 hours of content/design updates

    • Squarespace, plugin, and theme updates

    • Weekly backups and uptime monitoring

  3. Email Services

    • Set up business email accounts

    • Basic support for setup and troubleshooting

    • Respond to email issues within 2 business days
